Privacy policy

Last updated: 8 September 2026

This policy explains how Orthoflex collects, uses, stores and discloses personal information when you visit orthoflexglobal.com, place an order or contact us. Our store is hosted by Shopify, and we use service providers for payments, fulfilment, shipping, analytics, security and customer communications.

Information we collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, billing and delivery address, order and return details, account information, communications, device and browser information, IP address, cookie identifiers and website usage information. Payment providers process payment credentials; Orthoflex generally receives transaction status and limited payment details rather than complete card numbers.

How we collect and use information

We collect information directly from you, automatically through the website and cookies, and from Shopify, payment providers, fulfilment partners, carriers, security providers, analytics services and marketing platforms where permitted.

  • To process payments, orders, delivery, returns and refunds.
  • To provide customer service and communicate about your order.
  • To maintain accounts, prevent fraud and protect the store.
  • To comply with legal, tax, accounting, safety and recall obligations.
  • To improve the website and understand service performance.
  • To send marketing only where we have the required consent or another lawful basis, and to honour opt-out requests.

Sharing and overseas processing

We disclose information only as reasonably necessary to Shopify, payment providers, fulfilment and dropshipping partners, carriers, IT and cloud providers, analytics and marketing services, professional advisers, regulators and authorities. Because Orthoflex and its service providers operate internationally, information may be processed outside Australia, including in the United States and in countries where fulfilment or technology providers operate. Their privacy protections may differ from Australian law.

Cookies and advertising

We use cookies and similar technologies for essential store functions, security, preferences, analytics and advertising. Where consent is required, non-essential technologies are controlled through the cookie choices shown on the site. You can revisit Cookie Preferences in the website footer. Rejecting non-essential cookies does not prevent essential checkout and security functions.

Marketing communications

We seek consent before sending commercial email or SMS where required. Marketing messages identify the sender and provide a functional way to unsubscribe. We aim to action electronic unsubscribe requests within five working days. Transactional messages about an order may still be sent after a marketing opt-out.

Retention and security

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, including order support, fraud prevention, legal, tax and product safety obligations. We use reasonable safeguards, but no online transmission or storage method is completely secure.

Access, correction and complaints

You may ask for access to or correction of personal information we hold, subject to applicable exceptions. You may also raise a privacy complaint or withdraw marketing consent. Contact us with enough information to identify your request. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

Children

The store is not intended for children to purchase products independently, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children contrary to applicable law.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy when our practices, providers or legal obligations change. The latest version will be published here with an updated date. Contact us through our Contact page or email david@atriumrevolution.com.
